Our Story
Our story starts with a rich history in hair care. Romina, our founder is the third generation in the business. She grew up in her dad's salon and manufacturing facility, where she learned all about the art and science of hair care.
It's more than just a job to us—it's in our blood.
Growing up in a family of renowned hair care manufacturers, I witnessed firsthand the meticulous craft of creating products that truly deliver results.
At Brillo Hair Care, it only makes sense that we continue this legacy by using only the best, scientifically backed ingredients.

Everything began with my grandfather, a renowned hairstylist who won the title of best stylist in Venezuela. His expertise in hair care led him to establish his own hair cosmetics manufacturing facility.
Over the years, my grandad's company, Jean Raymond, became the #1 hair care brand in Venezuela, recognized through iconic TV commercials and multiple successful brands. His passion for hair care set the foundation for a legacy that would span generations.

My father carried forward the family's passion by opening a salon in Valencia, Spain. He continued the family tradition of excellence by creating, manufacturing and exporting new hair care products.
The salon quickly became famous in the city, known for its exclusive use of their own handcrafted cosmetics. This commitment to quality and innovation solidified the family's reputation in the industry.

Brillo started in the cold city of Toronto, where I moved from Spain and started facing the challenges of maintaining a healthy scalp. Frustrated by the lack of effective solutions, I turned to my haircare knowledge and began experimenting with ingredients. And then, I discovered the hero ingredient that transformed my scalp health.
But it wasn't just about finding the right ingredient—it was about crafting the perfect formula. After a conversation my partner, I decided to bring my vision to life. And so, our winning product was born with a mission to foster inclusivity and empower individuals by nurturing their confidence through a healthy hair care routine.
